Designers do not lose clients. They forget them.

Look at your phone. There is a person who asked about work and you never wrote back. An old client you could work with again. Someone who said “maybe next month” in March.

They are not gone. You just forgot them. One message a day is 250 a year, all to people who already know you. That is the whole idea, and everything here exists to make it happen even when you are busy.

Say your work is $5,000 a month per client. Then you need about two clients at a time, all year. Not twenty. Two, that keep going.
